CA Milind Kale completed his schooling at the renowned school Jnana Prabodhini and college education at Ness Wadia College. Under absolute adverse conditions he completed 5 professional courses viz., Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Business Administration, MBA Finance and Journalism within a very short time-span displaying his extraordinary intellect. He started his own Chartered Accountancy practice in 1983. He has taken forward the legacy of three generation of entrepreneurship. Kale family was into numerous businesses at that time. Through those businesses he got opportunity to work extensively in the field of Finance. The main reason for this was his educational qualifications and expertise in the field of Finance and Economy. Thus, was is on the Board of Directors of Cosmos Bank for 25 long years since 1999 and Chairman from 2015 to 2024.

Apart from Cooperative Sector, his contribution in the field of education, social work, journalism is well-recognized. He has given impetus to and encouraged Marathi /Maharashtrian Youth to start business through various annual conclaves. He has supported them by economically assisting them through the Bank. He has a special place as Orator in various seminars on Finance and Economy. Kale has also chaired SPPU’s Board of Examiners for Business Management Diploma. To give impetus to women to take on entrepreneurship, he introduced loan scheme especially for women through Cosmos Bank. Women are offered loan at reduced rate of interest through this loan scheme. Under his able leadership Cosmos Bank has funded more than 1500 Self Help Groups to start their home-based business, thus empowering them financially. This has helped more than 15000 women to be financial independent. With his active participation, this mission of women empowerment is doing very well.

Since last couple of decades, cooperative banks’ image has plummeted due to misappropriation by few banks. To enhance and uplift the image of cooperative banks Chartered Accountants in Cooperative Banks (CACOB) organization is working dedicatedly. Kale is the Vice-Chairman of CACOB, thus adding CACOB with his expertise in cooperative banking sector. He has also been appointed as Co-opted Member of the Director Board of The Maharashtra Urban Cooperative Banks’ Federation.

He is also elected as the Vice-chairman of Cooperative Bank of India (COBI), New Delhi. Milind Kale is well-known for his transparent values, work ethics, positive yet realistic attitude, futuristic vision, ability to face all challenges resolutely and much more. CA Kale is the elected as Vice President of National Federation of Urban Co-operative Banks & Credit Societies (NAFCUB), New Delhi for the period of 5 years i.e. from year 2024 to 2029.
